An ex-convict, 35-year-old
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Idowu Ayenimo, who pronounced the sentence, did not give the convict an option of fine.
He said since the thief had admitted guilt the court had no option than to sentence him accordingly.
The accused was arraigned for stealing to which he pleaded guilty.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Sgt. Bankole Olasunkanmi, told the court that the accused committed the offence on April 29 at about 11.40 p.m. at No. 17, Omisanjana St., Ado-Ekiti.
