Four aid workers were killed in a Boko Haram attack in the remote town of Rann, in northeast Nigeria, the UN told AFP on Friday.

UN spokeswoman Samantha Newport said the attack happened late Thursday. "Four aid workers were killed, one aid worker was injured and one aid worker is missing, feared abducted," she added.
