This is after Gor Mahia’s Organizing Secretary Judith ‘Nyangi’ Anyango, flanked with a number of fans openly endorsed Sonko while in Tanzania ahead of their exhibition match against English Premier League side Everton.

Anyango explained why she has made the ‘unexpected’ decision mentioning the contuined help which the senator has been offering the club in the recent times. She says Sonko, who has been supporting their junior team, sponsored a number of fans to Dar es Salaam, same thing he did for both the club’s fans and those of AFC Leopards during their SportPesa Super Cup final match played in June.
