Kenya’s national football team Harambee Stars has made two steps up in the latest Fifa rankings released on Thursday.
The Stanley Okumbi-coached side is now placed at position 82 just above Trinidad and Tobago, who dropped by five places.
Congo, who has also made five steps higher, is above Kenya as Egypt leads in Africa. DRC, Senegal, Tunisia and Cameroon occupy positions two to five in that order.
In East Africa, Uganda leads at position 73 globally while Tanzania, which is third sits on position 120 in the world.
Brazil has overtaken Germany on the global map with Argentina, Switzerland and Poland being third, fourth and fifth respectively.
