Wanyama has been praised by Chelsea’s top talent N'Golo Kanté after 2016-17 season.

Wanyama was instrumental for Tottenham Hotspur in the 2016/17 season and K’onte, who was named the PFA Player of the Year after guiding Chelsea to the championship, says the Harambee Stars skipper was his real challenge in the season.

“We had two very tight games against them (Tottenham Hotspur) in the Premier League. They’re a very good team and in midfield Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele are so strong,” he told Chelsea’s official website.

Tottenham Hotspur finished second in the league and will start their 2017/18 season against Newcastle United in August.
