P Live can EXCLUSIVELY report that AFC Leopards have parted ways with two members of their technical bench.

According to letters on our desk, the Big Cats have fired team manager Tony Lidonde and goalkeeper trainer Alex Mwangi with immediate effect. Lidonde is AFC Leopards legend who played as a striker during his hey days. He has also served as team manager in two regimes; under Alex Ole Magelo and Dan Mule.

“I refer to your appointment as the team manager of the senior team which you signed with the club in November 2016. I wish to advise you that National Executive Committee in its meeting held on Monday July 3rd 2017 reached a decision to terminate the same with immediate effect,” one of the letters read in parts.

Assistant coach Dennis Kitambi will now be the club’s team manager prior to appointing new head coach to be deputized by Tom Juma.

The changes come barely three weeks after the club fired Romanian coach Dorian Marin.
