The Englishman admits that their opponents were a threat but explains that their great work in training ahead of the match yielded fruits.

He has also applauded his entire playing unit for the good job done during the match where Meddie Kagere scored the lone goal.

"It was a tough game as Posta came to the party as I expected and we worked on the dangers they possess on Monday and it worked," Kerr exclusively told the official Gor Mahia website.

"First 25 minutes we attacked very well again missing several chances and Meddie scored his 'first' goal which for me, was excellent because both he and Jacques worked hard off the ball."

"Second half we lost possession too much and that made Posta side keep attacking which is something I need to address in training," he added.

"We have the three points and amazing credit goes out to the four defenders, our goalkeeper and the midfield for their desire determination and heart not to concede,” he told the club’s official website.
