Western Stima head coach Henry Omino has opted to compound AFC Leopards’ miseries by issuing a strong statement ahead of their next match set for August 6 at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.

Omino guided his team to beat AFC Leopards 1-0 in a Kenyan Premier League match played on Saturday July 29 at Nyayo national stadium before explaining that his charges will do the same against Ingwe when they meet in Kisumu for the league’s second leg opener.

“We are happy for the win today because it is a morale booster for us. I’m very sure of surging away from relegation zone very soon.

“In fact, we are assured of another three points from our next match because we are playing against AFC Leopards at home."

“We started the match badly; we didn’t create chances in the first half but we played as a team in the second half.  I think we were simply unlucky. Our focus now shifts to next match where we target three points.”

Striker Ezekiel Otuoma was the man who headed in for Western Stima in the 11 minute to stamp authority over AFC Leopards.
