We expect a tough game against Kenya - Germany’s head coach
Currently Germany are ranked 24th in the world
Germany Head Coach Kobus Potgieter has express his feelings ahead of the clash that will be coming up on Saturday at the RFUEA grounds.
According to coach Kobus Potgieter who spoke to Kenya Rugby Union, they expect a tough game when they will be taking on Kenya in the Tatu City Series.
“We know that Kenya is a very strong opponent, very difficult to play at home. I believe it will be a very tough and exciting game. Kenya are strong with ball in hand and we have to make sure we are up to that challenge on defense,” said Potgieter after a training session at Nairobi’s Impala Club on Wednesday afternoon.
However, the Co-captain of Germany team Sean Armstrong they are excited to take on a foreign team and determined to build a good his squad with the experience.
” We’re expecting a very tough, physical game and looking forward to the opportunity to take on a foreign team…really looking forward to build what we’ve got going at the moment” said Sean.
Currently Germany are ranked 24th in the world, just a position below Kenya’s Simbas.
Simba’s kicked off their training on Wednesday aiming to uplift their fitness before Saturday when they will be locking horns with the Germany’s side. This will mark the start of Kenya’s International outings for the year 2017.
