Victor Wanyama’s last message to fans as he leaves Tottenham for Canadian club

Kenyan international Victor Mugubi Wanyama has sent out his last message to fans, as he leaves English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur for Canadian club Montreal Impact.

In a tweet, the Harambee Stars captain thanked Tottenham fans for the support they have accorded him the past three years he has been at the club, which saw him make 97 appearances.

He went on to say that they shared great moments as he highlighted the achievements the club made during his stay at the White Hart lane.

I want to thank @SpursOfficial fans for all the support over these past years, we have shared great times together from finishing 2nd in EPL to reaching the champions league finals, I will always be grateful for having be able to play for @SpursOfficial #COYS,” said Victor Wanyama.

The defensive midfielder in another tweet said that he was excited to join Major League Soccer (MLS) club Montreal Impact, and that he hopes to make great contribution to the success of the club.

The Lion is coming to @MLS ,I’m really happy to join an exciting club like @impactmontreal I believe the Saputo family ,@ThierryHenry and the management at @impactmontreal have a great plan in place and I hope I can make a great contribution to the success of this project,” added Wanyama.
