The Malkia Strikers are currently taking part in the CAVB Zone V qualifiers enroute the World championship and Munala believes that the ladies have what it takes to emerge winners of the zone.

Speaking after beating Uganda in their opening match played on Friday at Kasarani’s Indoor Arena, the coach exuded confidence in his charges pointing out what worked for them against Uganda.

“Our reception worked for us very well, our defense was okay and our attack was perfect; that made us win easily against Uganda.

“It is good that we start with a win and we hope that the same spirit is going to continue for the remaining matches. We have all it takes to win the championship.”

The nine-time African champions will battle against Rwanda on Saturday as from 5:00pm at the same venue.
