I am lucky to be alive - Colonel Mustapha

As Luwi recuperates in the hospital, Colonel the rapper has opened up about the events that happened before his accident.

Luwi Capello sustained grave injuries after he and 3 of his friends had an accident along the Mombasa-Malindi highway as they were leaving a wedding. The accident took place at around 2.00 am on Sunday Morning.

The same morning, Colonel Mustapha and his friends also had an accident on their way back from Mayweather’s match.

Speaking of the incident to Nairobi News Mustapha said “Gari ili roll mara mbili lakini hatujavunjika, tulikuwa watatu mimi na washikaji zangu tukitoka Club i7 tulikokuwa tumekwenda kucheki boxing ya Mayweather. So tukirudi nyumbani ndio ajali hiyo imetokea maeneo ya Naivas, Mombasa Road”. He also revealed that he had trouble steering his car at the accident scene which has been marked as a black spot by the (The car we were in rolled two times but we didn’t break any bone. My friends and I were leaving Club i7 where we had gone to watch the Mayweather-Macgregor match when we got involved in an accident near Naivas, Mombasa Road.)

He, however, denied claims of being under the influence during the tragic incident “ Wanataka kunimaliza? Sikuwa mlevi. Tukio hawalielewi. Ilikuwa noma ila nashukuru kuwa hai, ni bahati sana. Lakini nina maumivu makali ya shingoni na mono.”(They want to kill me? I wasn’t drunk. They don’t understand what went down. It was bad, I am grateful to be alive, I am very lucky but I have severe pain in my neck and hands.)
