Obinna reveals the number of times he thought of committing suicide

The comedian opened up in along post on his Instagram account, saying that he contemplated suicide 3 times because of the frustrations he was going through as a young man trying to make a life for himself in the city.
“I've thought about committing suicide 3 times before when I was suffering. But I didn't.” He said.
The singer and comedian revealed that at one time he could not raise 3 thousand shillings to pay rent and had to sleep in a salon in Majengo slum with one of his friends and slept hungry on many occasions.

He revealed that he would wake up early in the morning to take menial jobs that paid little and they would be given expired foods to take home after work.
“I was the first one in the morning at Industrial Area to offload Trucks 90kg maize Bags- for 130/-I put KEBS Tags on Pasta and Macaroni packs then we use to be given the expired ones that we would take with Open Arms to go eat in Makongeni where we lived,” read part of his post.
Obinna said that he would act set books for free and perform in Nairobi clubs where he was paid from between 300-500 shillings.
He asked his followers to be better and treat people better because you never know where the person you despise today will be tomorrow.
