Shaffie disclosed that he has had several walks of shame but one that stood out happened in Nakuru down memory lane.
Walk of shame is walking home still wearing your clothes from the night before the morning after staying over at a guy/girl's house that you met at bar or party. Alcohol is usually involved in your decision to go home with them
He drank heavily for three days with his team and he ended being kicked out of Nakuru Athletic Club where they had gone to attend 10 Aside rugby tournament.

The presenter told Pulse Live that someone saw the photo and showed his mother and she wept and got scared for his son.
The director cum radio host however pointed out that he was then young and restless. Shaffie narrated that half of the people who saw the picture of him when being roughed up did not believe that it was him.
The following Monday his workmates became concerned and he was called for meetings and they wanted to intervene. Regarding the issue he said, “wasee wajue nlikuwa nmewaka tu sana.”
On being asked whether he has found himself in a strange place the next morning after drinking liquor and he said it has happened severally.
