President Uhuru's lawyer speaks after Jubilee affiliate party threatened to leave coalition

This is after they threatened to walk out of Jubilee

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s lawyer has spoken after a Jubilee affiliate party threatened to quit the ruling coalition.

Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi in a tweet said that the Economic Freedom Party of Mandera was never invited to support the Jubilee party in the August 8 2017 election.

“Nobody invited Economic Freedom Party of Mandera to Join JUBILEE ...they stormed without any invitation,” he said.

The Economic Freedom Party threatened to walk out of the ruling coalition for being shortchanged in sharing of positions as earlier agreed.

The Party accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of defaulting on their promise of considering members of the party in Cabinet appointments, Parliamentary positions and other key Government positions.
