The latter is exactly what Dr. Sandra Lee-aka Dr. Pimple Popper-delivers in her latest Instagram video. In it, she attacks a patient's acne with her metal extraction tool, allowing for pus to spiral out at a truly spectacular rate and volume. The bumps don't look particularly large from the outside, but I assure you, they contain multitudes. Wow, it's hard to believe that all that gunk was hiding under the patient's skin!
According to Lee's Instagram caption, these blemishes are comedones-i.e., when oil and dead skin cells get trapped in a hair follicle, according to Verywell Health .

"A pop a day makes Instagram a better place," Dr. Buck Parker, MD FACS, commented on Lee's video. Preach, Dr. Buck Parker!
"Love how close up [these] are, and we can actually see the pops," said a fan who clearly has an eye for nuance.
Yet another commenter expressed relief that they didn't have to watch another grisly lipoma removal . Hey, I get it-that lipoma video was preeeetty graphic.
If you're dealing with some acne of your own, there are plenty of ways you can treat it with over-the-counter products . It only takes 5-10 minutes to cleanse, tone, moisturize, and exfoliate-and it feels good, too.
