There’s nothing as tempting as wanting to stalk your ex on social media.
The great thing about it is that they will never know unless you accidentally like their photo from 52 weeks ago.
While it may be convenient to validate something in you, being friends with a recent ex isn’t exactly the best idea.
Here are 4 good reasons to block your ex from your social media.
1.It’s liberating
You feel free of them completely. Yes, break ups are hard and the transition back to being single sucks but the whole point of being single is to regain your independence.
2.It doesn’t help you to get over them
Stalking them and finding out what they are doing every second doesn’t help you get over them. It just makes you linger about your ex and hang on to what you lost.
3.You won’t feel like reaching out to them
Knowing what your ex is up to will make you feel like reaching out to them or sending them a ‘Hey how are you doing’ message which doesn’t help you move one.
Blocking them on social media helps you to resist the temptation.
4.You won’t feel pressured to move on
Blocking your ex on social media lessens the pressure of wanting to move one. Maybe they moved on and are plastering their new relationship all over social media and you still haven’t moved on to anyon
