Self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna has been allowed to come back to Kenya after controversial deportation to Canada by the Government.
In a ruling made on Monday morning, Justice Chacha Mwita suspended the Government decision declaring Miguna a non-citizen.
Judge Mwita directed Immigration Director Gordon Kihalangwa to facilitate Miguna’s return to the country. The judge also ordered that the Canadian-based lawyer be allowed to use his Canadian passport by default or provided travel documents.
He noted that it was imperative for Miguna to travel back to Kenya to give oral evidence concerning his citizenship.

At the same time, Mr Matiang'i was instructed to issue a Gazette notice suspending the order of declaring NRM, a wing of the National Super Alliance (NASA), a criminal group.
