Tekno may have just put himself in the middle of the apparently ongoing shades and subs being thrown about on social media between Wizkid and Davido regarding their individual international feats.

Wizkid seems to have taken a shot at Tekno, calling him a duck face who doesn't know his place by meddling into the apparent beef brewing between him and Davido.

In response to a fan who regarded Tekno as still upcoming to Wizkid and Davido, the 'Yawa' singer replied with some air of confidence and humour tweeting that the world would soon know who is more international.

It's now looking like Wizkid on seeing the Tekno tweet about international ambitions has gone on to say something about it.

A Twitter user by handle @iamkach_e also waded into the matter seemingly throwing shades at Tekno.

Both Twitter users @Iamsamshegzy and @thorbylorbar also jumped in with a tweet apparently shading Davido and Tekno.

But Wizzy still goes on to claim he never beefs after all his suggestive tweets.

Things can only get interesting from here on, at least for the fans and onlookers.

UPDATE: Tekno has responded to Wizkid, and calling for peace on Twitter.

Wizkid after his controversial <a href="http://pulse.ng/buzz/wizkid-speaks-on-viral-uk-interview-video-id6646208.html" id="105dd9a4-d422-5184-bc86-b6e56a966638">interview </a>with DJ Semtex, stops by at BBCRadio 1 xtra with presenter Ace.

He talks about his journey so far, says he doesn’t feel like he’s achieved anything yet.

On whether he feels pressured by younger artists coming up, Wizkid said what he does rather is to support those artists by jumping on remixes and advance African music to the world.

About the ongoing discussion on Drake ‘’stealing” from other people’s culture to make music. Wizkid defends the Canadian superstar saying he is a true artist,  “Every smart artist knows that you need to collaborate,” he added.

Wiz describes his performance on stage as spiritual, that he gives it all when he mounts on that stage, and those are his true moments.

Speaking on his forthcoming album “Sounds From The Other Side”(SFTOS), he refused to reveal too much about it except naming featured artists and producers he worked with which includes Chris Brown, Diplo, TY Dolla Sign, Sarz, Legendury Beatz, Trey Songz, Drake among others.

On a lighter note, Ace asks Wizkid to pitch his tent between Nigerian jollof rice and Ghanaian jollof rice.

Singer talks Drake "stealing" from other cultures for his music, summer album

Ugandan celebrated artist Bebe Cool teams up with his East African brothers Sauti Sol from Kenya in the song titled 'Mbozi Za Malwa'.

‘Mbozi Za Malwa’, luganda for conversations that usually take place when friends are having a drink at the locals.

The video portrays nothing but good vibes at the locals. The song was written by Yesse Oman Rafiki and Sauti Sol, it has a dancehall vibe. Produced by Danz, co- arranged by Sauti Sol the song was mixed and mastered by Ogopa Inc.

The visuals was shot in Kampala (Uganda) at the Hilton hotel by the renowned music director, Sasha Vybz.

<h1>Adele breaks her Grammys 2017 Album of the Year award plaque into two, acknowledging Beyonce as more deserving of the award.</h1>

Adele won Album of the Year, a keenly contested category that had Beyonce's "Lemonade", Justin Bieber's "Purpose", and Sturgill Simpson's "A Sailor's Guide To Earth".

In what was likened to a scene in the popular TV series "Mean Girls",  Adele broke her Grammy plaque for Album of the Year in half on stage at the award ceremony on Sunday night, a happy accident as she declared it truly belongs to Beyoncé.

The 'Hello' singer who also bagged Song of the Year award and Record of the Year award explained in detail why she feels Beyonce's "Lemonade" was more deserving of Album of the Year award.

"I can't possibly accept this award," she said during her acceptance speech. "The Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental and well thought-out and beautiful and soul-bearing... we appreciate that. All of us artists here adore you. You are our light."

Backstage, she added saying, “I thought it was her year. What the fuck does she have to do to win Album of the Year?”

Beyonce emotionally was seen almost flooded in her tears, in reaction to the selflessness, respect, admiration and utmost love Adele displayed towards her.

This tweet came from an online observer about the situation.

The moment brought to mind Mean Girls for a lot of people, in which Lindsay Lohan’s protagonist Cady Heron breaks her Spring Fling queen crown into pieces and hands them to the other contestants.

It's become trendy for Beyonce to get this sort of recognition at music award shows. You would recall <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z8gCZ7zpsQ" id="e1696f24-e0c9-51fd-8c9b-c320a06f478c">Kanye West</a> at the 2009 VMAs during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video, when he grabbed the mic from her, saying "Taylor I'mma let you finish but Beyonce had the best video of all time", making his point that Beyonce deserved that award more than Swift. which left everyone at the arena including Beyonce and Taylor stunned.

Beyoncé however did pick up Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Lemonade" on the night.

Sister to Beyonce, Solange also was in tune with Adele, that Beyonce should have picked up the award, also adding her quota to <a href="http://pulse.ng/buzz/frank-ocean-calls-out-grammy-organisers-over-award-boycott-id6210326.html" id="6679c509-0cd5-56f1-9b08-968aa7b0c4d9">Frank Ocean's earlier shade</a> at the Grammys.

Adele further went on backstage, elaborating on her Beyoncé love, recalling “I remember when I was 11 years old, I was with some girlfriends, and we were practicing a song to do at an assembly. I probably suggested the Spice Girls, and they said have you heard [Destiny’s Child’s] ‘No No No’? And I was like, ‘no, no, no.’ I remember how I felt hearing her voice. I fell in love immediately with her. The way I felt when I first heard ‘No No No’ was exactly the same as when I first heard ‘Lemonade’ last year. … The other artists who mean that much to me are all dead.” she remarked.

Superstar Mavin singer Tiwa Savage is the latest prominent Nigerian to be featured on CNN’s African Voices.

The singer has come a long way from singing in a church choir to doing back up vocals and writing songs for international music superstars, to evolving into her own brand as a bonafide African diva singer and songwriter.

Taking the CNN My Africa(African Voices) crew, through her humble beginnings,  to her alma mater, South School, Idi-araba, in Surulere, mainland area of Lagos, she reminisces on the good memories as she tells CNN.

"This is kind of a little bit emotional for me because as soon as we stepped here, so many memories, great memories," she recalls.

Tiwa then met with the young school kids, and had a photo moment with them.

She talks starting music with her father and putting God first in this interview.

"I  grew up in this church,, We used to come every Sunday," she recounted as she walks hand-in-hand with her aged father through the aisle of a certain Methodist church.

"I  remember I used to see the choir as they used to sit in these pews with these lovely gowns and I remember I used to like, just belike, man I can sing, like I wanna be part of it," she explained, and how she came to audition.

She then narrates an embarrassing story of  how she came for auditioning with the choir, and how she assumed that after that one time audition, she was already a choir member and was going to be singing the next Sunday in church.

"So the next Sunday, I come to church, and I go straight to he back, put on my robe, and I'm like, you know, waiting with everybody else. And the choirmaster is like. What are you doing? And I'm like, I 'm ready to pray, I'm ready to do praise and worship, and she was like , No, no, no, no, no, it takes longer than that, and I was so embarrassed because everyone was looking at me like, Oh my days, she just got told! so I had to take it off and come back and sit, And I'm looking like, when I am ever going to sing in the choir," she remarked saying it was good and that it humbled her.

CNN notes that Tiwa Savage's career didn't take long to kick off, as she was singing back up vocals for late pop icon, George Michael, and how she yearned for home.

Tiwa tells CNN, "When I moved to LA, I met so many people, I met Fantasia, Monica, Babyface. You know, I wrote songs for Akon, Cat De Luna, a lot of people". She also tells CNN about how the natives in America were surprised to know she was African, when they would ask questions and she replies her name is Tiwa.

That was the defining wake up call for the Mavin singer to return to Nigeria, as she recounts "It was like a switch, a light bulb, Like these people are interested in where I'm from, and I'm running from it, does that make sense, and I was like, what I'm doing."

Though she recalls that it wasn't a smooth ride for her on returning to Nigeria, saying she got a lot of discouragement about being a female artist in a male dominated industry, with arguments that female musicians are not marketable.

"And that rebellious side of me came out to try and prove people wrong, that female artists are huge in other parts of the world, and it shouldn't be any different in Africa," she tells CNN.

She then takes CNN to her second home as she calls it - The Mavin Records studio. She jokingly adds,  "This is where I work, I come in the morning, I get my bucket, my broom, clean the toilets, cook the food  for everybody..nah I'm just kidding" (Laughing).

"This is where we cook the hit records , Don Jazzy's home, all of our home", she enthused, as she takes the crew in, adding that it was right timing, as she was working on a new song, giving them a teaser of the song.

She ends the gripping interview with the quotable self-advice "Believe in yourself, believe in Africa."

Even before he became known as Starboy or ever thought of topping charts with an international collaboration such as with 'One dance', Wizkid was a young adorable Nigerian singer who was just getting to enjoy life as an artiste.

In this interview with the singer who was just 20 years old, Wizkid reveals a lot about himself, his situation before he got signed by Banky W and more.

Wizkid alongside singer Sexy Steel found their way to Malaysia for a concert organised by Stronghold Entertainment. The pop singer gets talking about how he got his stage name 'Wizkid', how he got to sign with Banky W's E.M.E.

He talks about Banky W being interested in him after he had collaborated with artists like M.I Abaga.

"When I met Banky, he was interested in my work and liked my music, so we talked about it and he gave me a better deal which I hopped for, so that's how I got signed to EME."

He talks joining the industry at the very young age of nine from church, and how he had to prove to his parent folks that he could combine music with academics.

"Music is what I know to do best, so they had no choice but to let me do it," the singer adds.

Wizkid also spoke about how hard it was to break into the industry as a young act especially as no youth was setting the pace in the Nigerian music scene at the time, and how all he had to do was make good music to break into the industry.

The singer cites Banky W and 2face Idibia as his role models.
