In an Instagram post seen by Pulse Live, the Morogoro East MP shared that he has had sleepless nights and he cannot manage to deal with the pain anymore.&nbsp;

Additionally, Tale said that he needs the services of a therapist who will help him deal with the loss.&nbsp;

Early this year in January, Tale had disclosed that his wife advised him not to remarry before she died.

In an interview with Salama Jabir on SalamaNa, Tale mentioned that while on her hospital bed, Shamsa insisted that he should not think about marrying another wife but instead just take care of their kids.

This comes days after Zari hinted that she had ended her relationship with Dark Stallion, the man she introduced as her lover in 2021.

A cross check done by Pulse Live indicates that Ms Hassan has deleted all the photos she ever took with her new man, something that has left many fans in speculation.&nbsp;

In a cryptic message, Ms Hassan insinuated that she had to let him go because they were not building each other in any way.

Kasavuli has easily become a KOT favorite after announcement of her TV comeback.

The 59-year old news anchor had retired from the media industry in 2015 but has since made a comeback via <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/entertainment/celebrities/shiksha-arora-fred-indimuli-catherine-kasavuli-cynthia-nyamai-nancy-onyancha-juma/4e5zfw2">Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC)</a>.&nbsp;

After retiring from TV a few years ago, she founded Kasavuli Media Group Limited which is a parent company of 5 other subsidiary companies. Among them is a finishing school for broad casters that fine tunes anchors and an arm that takes care of etiquette.

Kasavuli will be hosting a new show dubbed ‘Legend Edition’ every Saturday on KBC Channel 1.

In a post seen by Pulse live, Akuku had shared with his followers videos of his house that had been burnt down.&nbsp;

The comedian was not injured but a section of the house was in smokes.&nbsp;

Who is Vera? She decided to comment on the status of Akuku’s house insinuating that this was a case of karma after he tarnished her name.&nbsp;

In a lengthy Instagram post, Akuku said that he doesn’t care about the amount of money Sidika spent on the reveal party, but the Sh5,000 balance she still owes him.

In a number of posts, Ms Sidika threw shade at the Churchill show comedian, accusing him of lying to the public. According to Vera, Akuku bargained for Sh10, 000 but upon reaching the venue of the event, he changed tune, demanding an additional Sh5, 000.

On July 15th, Akuku went on to confirm that Vera had reached out and they were able to mend the mess.&nbsp;

Danger pointed out that Ms Sidika is going through a lot at the moment and that's why he opted to give her a listening ear and end their standoff.

Nairobi County still continues to register the highest number of Covid-19 infections with new infections reported at 186 out of the 536 new cases reported in the country.

Total confirmed positive cases are now 188,513 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 2,012,698.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the new positive Covid-19 cases in Kenya had been detected after testing 6,036&nbsp;samples over the last 24 hours.

The distribution of cases by county is: Nairobi 186, Busia 50, Uasin Gishu 39, Nakuru 30, Nyeri 22, Mombasa 19, Taita Taveta 18, Nandi 17, Kericho 16, Siaya 15, Migori 12, Kisumu 12, Kilifi 11, Laikipia 10, Nyamira 9, Kajiado 8, Kiambu 7, Vihiga 6, Nyandarua 5, Kakamega 5, Turkana 5, Baringo 4, Bungoma 4, Tana River 4, Murang’a 4, Bomet 3, Homa Bay 3, Embu 2, Kirinyaga 2, Kwale 2, Machakos 2, Narok 1, Tharaka Nithi 1, Garissa 1 and Kitui 1.

336 patients have recovered from the disease, 236 from the various health facilities countrywide while 100 are from the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.

Total recoveries now stand at 178,119 out of whom 141,958 are from the Home Based Care and Isolation program, while 36,161 are from various health facilities countrywide.

3 patients have succumbed to the disease, all of them being late deaths reported after conducting facility record audits in July 2021.

This now pushes the cumulative fatalities to 3,721

A total of 1,092 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 3,982 are under the Home Based Isolation and Care program. 120 patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 39 of whom are on ventilatory support and 61 on supplemental oxygen. 20 patients are under observation.

Another 202 patients are separately on supplemental oxygen with 184 of them in general wards and 18 in High Dependency Units (HDU).

As of today, a total of 1,538,340 vaccines have so far been administered across the country. Of these, total first doses are 1,026,820 while second doses are 511,520.

The uptake of the second dose among those who received their first dose is at 49.8% with the majority being males at 55% while females are at 45%.

ODM Party leader, Raila Odinga has on Saturday, July 10 joined the family of the late Dorcas Pedelai Ntimama as she was laid to rest at Motony village in Narok North Sub- County.

Raila, who attended the burial ceremony with other political leaders, stayed on briefly before leaving to attend another function.&nbsp;

However, in his brief speech, Raila asked the Narok Governor, Samuel Tunai, to rename Narok Stadium after the late minister.&nbsp;

The former Prime Minister added that despite the government authorization for the renaming, the process was yet to kick off, asking Tunai to effect the changes.&nbsp;

"Narok Stadium had been renamed William Ole Ntimama, but I understand there are a few things the county government should do. Mr governor, change the name even tomorrow. Iandikwe kesho," siad Raila.&nbsp;

Mrs Ntimama’s family, led by daughter, Lydia Ntimama had asked politicians attending the burial shun politics.

“My mother was a prayerful person, hence there is no need of spoiling her burial with too much politics. We need to give her a decent send-off that she deserves,” said Ms Ntimama.

Mrs Ntimama died June 25th 2021,at a Nairobi hospital aged 85 after an undisclosed illness.&nbsp;

She was the wife of the late Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama who died in September 2016.

On January 31st 2020, the family also lost Ntimama’s daughter, Vivian, who succumbed to a heart attack at her home.

Vivian's sister, Lydia Ntimama, told the publication that the deceased was preparing to go to work but collapsed while taking a shower.

In a YouTube video this week, Vera disclosed that she is currently 22 weeks pregnant.

The Ministry of Health has today <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/news/jandj-vaccine-procured-by-kenya-is-effective-against-deadly-delta-covid-19-variant/rlpe51l">reported 531 new Covid-19 infections in Kenya</a>, detected from a sample size of 8,154 tested in the last 24 hours.

The country's positivity rate now stands at 6.5%.

Distribution by county: Nairobi 185, Uasin Gishu 43, Busia 38, Kiambu 30, Siaya 28, Kilifi 28, Nakuru 28, Kisumu 24, Migori 20, Kakamega 14, Nyamira 12, Kericho 12, Homa Bay 9, Kajiado 6, Laikipia 5, Vihiga 5, Kisii 4, Kwale 4, Taita Taveta 4, Nyandarua 4, Murang’a 4, Baringo 3, Kitui 3, Machakos 3, Meru 3, Turkana 3, Bomet 2, Bungoma 2, Kirinyaga, Mombasa, Narok, Nyeri and West Pokot each had one case.&nbsp;

A total of 1,053 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities, while 6,612 patients are under Home Based Isolation and Care program.

One hundred and one patients are in the ICU, 33 of whom are on ventilatory support and 51 on supplemental oxygen and 17 patients are under observation.

A hundred and twenty-five patients are separately on supplemental oxygen with 125 of them in general wards and 10 in High Dependency Units.

Johnson &amp; Johnson Vaccine

On Friday, while speaking at Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that Kenya has already ordered 13 million doses of the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine whose delivery is expected to begin in August.

The country will be receiving a donation of 1.6 million Pfizer doses to fully vaccinate 800,000 more Kenyans.

The country will also receive 500,000 doses of Johnson &amp; Johnson single shot vaccine to vaccinate a further 500,000 Kenyans.

Deaths and Recoveries

A total of 276 patients have recovered from Covid-19, 115 from the Home Based &amp; Isolation Care program while 125 are from various health facilities.

Total recoveries now stand at 126,956; 91,701 are from Home Based Care &amp; Isolation program, while 35,255 are from health facilities.

Twenty patients have succumbed to the disease, being late deaths reported after conducting facility audit records on diverse dates in the months of June and July. The cumulative fatalities now stand at 3,671.

Curfew Imposed Due To Increase in Cases

The increase in cases last month, led to the government imposing a partial lockdown in 13 counties: Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Kakamega, Bungoma, Kericho, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Siaya, Homa-Bay and Migori.

Save for essential and emergency service providers, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe discouraged movement into and out of the areas covered by the counties, which the government declared a Covid-19 red zone.

Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) research indicates the start of a fourth wave is imminent in the Coastal region and Nairobi county.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined Kenyans in mourning <a href="https://www.pulselive.co.ke/news/sameer-group-charirman-naushad-merali-dies-at-70/pc2zt3n">Kenyan billionaire businessman Naushud Noorali Merali</a> who passed away Saturday morning.&nbsp;

President Kenyatta described Merali as a gifted businessman whose contribution to the progress of the Kenyan nation shall be dearly missed.

In his message of condolence to the family, the President eulogised Merali as a top industrialist whose businesses created thousands of jobs for Kenyans contributing significantly to the stability of the Kenyan economy.

“I have received the shocking news of the passing away of Mr Merali with a heavy heart. The cruel hand of death has robbed our country of a successful entrepreneur whose investments contributed significantly to the economic stability and progress of our country.

"Mr Merali's business acumen created thousands of direct and indirect jobs for our people and wealth that helped uplift many of our households from poverty. Alongside his celebrated business exploits, Mr Merali was a philanthropist whose generous giving earned him the 'Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear' state commendation," read the President’s eulogy.&nbsp;

Additionally, President Kenyatta wished the family, friends and relatives of the businessman God's grace and fortitude as they come to terms with his demise.

At the time of his passing, Merali was the chairman of the Sameer Group of companies.&nbsp;

Merali has also served on various Presidential Committees relating to trade and social services and was a member of the National Economic and Social Council.&nbsp;

He has been honoured twice with Presidential national awards; being awarded the honour of the highly coveted national award of the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) and Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS).
