I've been an Apple user for as long as I can remember. So when the original AirPods first came out, I bought a pair right away. I liked the idea of switching to a wireless Bluetooth option, especially during workouts (cords...burpees...no pockets on my leggings...it was a mess). But like with, well, every other headphone option I've ever tried, AirPods wouldn't stay in my ears during runs or anything high impact.
When I worked as an entertainment journalist, I had to cover a red carpet despite having a cold. Crammed into a line of reporters, I waited as one well-known reality-TV personality came my way for an interview. Her nail art caught my eye, so I bent down to admire it. Whaddaya know?
