Police have confirmed that the Wiper leader's chase car was involved in an accident on Thursday afternoon at Kiusyani market in Yatta.
No fatalities have been reported thus far, according to the police.
The car is said to have been accompanying Kalonzo after Opposition campaigns in Kitui County held earlier in the day.
