Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has said that he will never argue with a village leader.
In a tweet, the legislator told off his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria calling him a village leader with jigger infested brains.
He went ahead and said that the two cannot reason on the same level as per the positions they both held during their times as student leaders at the University of Nairobi. Babu said that Kuria’s position was set aside for ladies.
“Moses Kuria was a SONU treasurer, a position that was preserved for ladies. I was a SONU chairman for 4terms. I will never argue with a village leader with Jigger infested brains,” Read Babu’s tweet.
This started after the Gatundu South legislator called on disciplinary action to be taken against Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja for securing Babu Owino’s release over the weekend. Kuria has since been calling Sakaja an opposition sympathizer and that he should come out clean on which side he supports politically.
Babu was dramatically arrested on Friday last week outside parliament buildings and was taken to Pangani police station where he spent the night as efforts to secure his release by opposition coalition leaders failed to bear fruit.
It is not the first time the two legislators are in a bitter exchange.
