Diamond speaks after school gets named after him

Speaking in Sumbawanga, Diamond said he was thankful that the community decided to name the school after him and that he would keep his promise to raise the Sh3 million (Tsh68 million) required to have the school complete.

He went on to say that he will make sure the school was complete before they returned to the area for the 2019 edition of Wasafi Festival.

Chibu said that he was doing this because he values education and he would like to see young people go to school and also to support President John Magufili’s dream to have education prioritized.

The school was named after the singer when he made a visit to the school before they performed during the Sumbawanga edition of Wasafi festival 2018.
