Former Citizen TV news anchor Julie Gichuru was on Thursday scathingly attacked on social media following peace messages that did not augur well with a section of the public.
Mrs. Gichuru was topping the trends on Twitter with some Kenyans expressing their annoyance in her for seemingly preferring a peaceful election other than a credible one.
Her messages attracted negative criticism but Julie's husband - Tony Gichuru - was there to cheer her up when the whole world seemed to be against her.
In a tweet, the media personality thanked her husband for making her laugh by sending a screenshot of what was happening on Twitter.
