Diana Marua is only 2 years older than Bahati but she has to deal has a slew of followers itching to call her a shosh (grandma).
The mum-of-one disclosed that people like to pull others down and that’s why they call her a shosh even though she doesn’t look like one.
“People look for everything to pull you down. Si kwa ubaya ebu niangalie. Mimi nakaa shosho?,” she said during a recent episode of ‘Being Bahati’.

In an earlier episode of the show, Ms Marua stated that thought it bothers some, it doesn’t bother her that Bahati is younger than her. She affirmed that what matters most in their relationship is the fact that they love each other. “What do you mean it does bother me? That Bahati is younger than me? It doesn't bother me at all, what matters is that I love him period” said Diana Marua.

Even though a lot of people are clearly bothered by their age gap, the couple has revealed that they don’t have a problem with it with Bahati even admitting that he went out of his way to look for an older woman. The ‘Mama’ singer disclosed that he chose Diana as an older woman wouldn’t ‘stress him out’.
“I’m proud of my wife’s age, I always wanted an older woman, I matured up at the age of 12, growing up in the ghetto and I knew I’d want a woman who wouldn’t stress me out,” Bahati told Edaily in an earlier interview.
