Kenyans were on Monday afternoon left shocked after learning of the brutal murder of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT manager Chris Msando.

The ICT guru went missing on Friday evening but was later found dead in Kikuyu area, Kiambu County under unclear circumstances.
News of his death elicited a lot of reactions from Kenyans with many sending in their condolence messages on social media.

And among those to do so was media personality Julie Gichuru who took to her official Twitter handle and said:
"Tragic. Dear Kenyans In these trying moments defy the urge to accuse/abuse/hate over party affiliation. We must & be vigilant "
The tweet was however received in bad taste by Kenyans on Twitter who went on to bash her for preaching too much of peace instead of seeking truth and justice on the face of the IEBC manager's brutal murder.
Julie Gichuru has often been on the receiving end of KOT who accuse her of being politically biased despite being a media personality.
Just a few months ago the former TV queen was blasted after she posted a photo of herself with Caroline Mutoko and President Uhuru Kenyatta during the President’s campaign fundraiser.
