9 Kenyan celebrities followed by Diamond Platnumz on Instagram

Many celebrities have millions of followers on Instagram but follow very few people or none at all. Celebrities like Beyonce and Adele follow no one, while Oprah who has 17.2 million followers follows only one person, her book club.

East Africa's best and WCB boss Diamond Platnumz has more than 9.8 million followers on Instagram but follows only 948 people.

A spot check by Pulselive.co.ke disclosed that the father of four follows 9 Kenyan celebrities, and your favorite may not have made the cut!

Here is the list;

The award winning boyband consisting of Delvin Mudigi, Bien-Aimé Baraza , Polycarp Otieno and Willis Austin Chimano is a talented band that majors in afro-pop music. They boy band rose to fame when they released their debut album ‘Mwanzo’ that had songs like Lazizi, Coming home, Blue uniform and soma kijana.

They are known for big hits like, Extravaganza, Short and sweet, Melanin, Kuliko jana, Sura yako, nishike, unconditionally bae, Shake yo bam bam and Nerea among others.

Victoria Kimani is a Kenyan singer and song writer who was once signed under Nigerian Record Label, Chocolate City.

She has produced mega hits like, China Love. She was featured in Hart the band's song, ‘bad manners’.

Charles Njagua Kanyi, better known by his stage name Jaguar waltzed into the limelight after releasing songs like Kigeugeu, Huu mwaka, One centimeter and Kipepeo.

He is the current Starehe Member of Parliament.

The king of controversy, Wilson Abubakar Radido aka Willypozze is also followed by Chibu Dangote. We are not sure whether he is a Gospel or a secular artiste, but let’s just say, he is still singing. He is the Chief Executive officer and founder of Saldido International.

Avril Nyambura Mwangi, popularly known as Avril is a singer and songwriter. The mother of one is known for her hit songs; Chokoza, Hello baby, Nikimuona, Ninaweza and Kitu kimoja, among many others.

Kevin Bahati, is a Gospel singer who rose to fame after releasing ‘Mama’, a song that talked about the struggles he encountered as a young boy.

The award winning Gospel singer is the owner of EMB (Eastlands Most Beloved) records.

Mzazi Willy M Tuva is a Radio and Tv presenter who hosts Mambo Mseto on radio and Mseto East Africa on Citizen TV. The award wining presenter's aim has been to unite East Africa through music, a duty he has carried out successfully.

Maina Kageni is a Radio personality who hosts Classic 105’s breakfast show ‘Maina In The Morning’ alongside Mwalimu King’ang’i. He is known for the heated topics he airs on his show which makes it the most listened to show.

He is also a big supporter of East African artistes and their work.

Award-winning comedian, Eric Omondi is also one of the people followed by Diamond Platnumz.

The popular comedian’s breakthrough came when he featured in the Churchill show. Since then he has been performing at various events and also doing parody videos of hit songs created by Diamond among them Salome and Kanyaga.
