Willy Paul appoints Jalang’o as his official MC, gives him Sh400K cash

The Milele FM presenter mentioned that Pozee had picked him as his official MC due to his good work.

In his post, Jalas mentioned that the Saldido President converged a meeting with him to discuss terms of working together and upon his arrival, the singer surprised him with a whooping Sh400K as an appreciation fee for accepting to meet him.

According to Jalang’o's narration, Willy has over 29 gigs line up across Africa (S A, Nigeria, 4 in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya) and he has appointed him as his official MC.

During their meeting, the Halleluyah hit maker, threw a blank Cheque at him (Jalas) to write an amount he would like to be paid.

“So Pozee tells me he wants me to he his official Mc...Apparently he has like 29 Gigs line up and he is heavily booked in the whole continent.. he has a gig in S A, Nigeria, 4 in Tz , 7 In Uganda and several in Kenya...busy schedule and apparently he has said he travels with his PA Photographer , 14 Dancers, His Mc and his designer...wee..I tell him am ok with it but since I am a busy person he has to tell me the dates...He asked me how much I will charge him..I told him Heavy j baba is not cheap..he cuts a page from his cheque book and tells me to write my cost....This boy has arrived!! After the meeting Will Paul wrote “Heavy j baba. Let's work now and show the rest of the world what Kenya has. We can do this pamoja heavy J. Thank you for accepting to work with the best alive @jalangoo”.

However, what captured people’s attention in the whole post was the money Willy Paul is willing to pay Jalango and still transport his team of 14 dancers, PA, Photographer and designer to all his gigs.

In Kenya, artistes’ requirements and rate cards vary depending on their demand, with Sauti Sol emerging as the highest paid as per 2018 (Sh800K- 5 Million).

Word has it that in 2018 Willy used to charges Sh250,000 for a concert and a higher amount for corporate events.
