National Super Alliance Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga has finally spoken on the Canaan craze that arose after he promised to deliver his supporters to 'Canaan.'

Throughout the campaign season, the NASA leader has christened himself 'Joshua', the Biblical figure who led the children of Israel to the Promised Land of Canaan.
He promised his supporters to be the modern day Joshua of Kenya and that he would lead the country to the land flowing with milk and honey if elected as the country's next President.
Now, while being interviewed by a local TV station, Raila said that he received some hilarious Canaan memes on his phone on the morning of the Aug 8 poll.

“….on the polling day, early morning at 5 am, I got messages….we are already crossing River Jordan”.
He said that it gave him satisfaction knowing that there were people who shared his eagerness to go to “Canaan”.
The best bit came when he begun reading the funny Canaan memes from his phone.
“Madem wana haga, watakuwa Haggai, wale wakupenda salon watakuwa Thessalonian,..mafisi tutakuwa mafilisti,” the amused Mr Odinga read.

The interviewer later posed the question: "Si ata Team Mafisi wataingia Canaan?" to which Raila responded,"Mafisi...yea," before dissolving into laughter.
