Ezekiel Mutua's interesting reaction to gay lions spotted in Maasai Mara

Many were surprised after photos of two male lions ‘ravishing’ each other in the Maasai Mara hit the internet.

Some people were quick to conclude that there is no possible way animals can exhibit homosexual behaviour, the only explanation for that was that they saw 2 gay men having sex and they took down notes and started having sex with each other.

Others blamed the current political climate for the unusual turn of events while others concluded these were the end times.

Well, though rare, animals in the wild have been known to exhibit homosexual behaviour such as the Bonobo apes that have been observed to engage in activities such as genital rubbing, fellatio and genital massages on members of the same sex as a way of easing tension and building bonds. But that is a story for another day.

Today, we are discussing Ezekiel Mutua’s response to the lions engaging in coitus in the Mara. Speaking to Nairobi News, Ezekiel blamed demonic possession and gay men for the lions' rare behaviour before recommending isolation and counselling for the lions.

Sadly this was not a tongue-in-cheek recommendation but a serious one.

“These animals need counselling because probably they have been influenced by gays who have gone to the national parks and behaved badly. I don’t know, they must have copied it somewhere or it is demonic. Because these animals do not watch movies.”

He also recommended that the animals be isolated and studied for what he perceived as abnormal behaviour.

“That is why I will say isolate the crazy gay animals, study their behaviour because it is not normal. The very idea of sex even among animals is for procreation. Two male lions cannot procreate and therefore we will lose the lion species.” He added.
