But that’s not all. There are many other ways you can use toothpaste at home. Check out this list of some creative ways in which you can use it:

Your bathroom or kitchen sink may get stained or tarnished with time. Apply some tooth paste on the scrubbing brush then scrub the stained surface. Then rinse it with clean water and your sink will be as sparkling as new.

2. Clothing stains

Whether it’s nail polish or ink pen, basic tooth paste will help clear up the stains. Apply the toothpaste on the stained cloth, dab in water and clean vigorously.

3. Odor

While in the kitchen, your hands may be smelly from handling fish, onions or garlic. Using toothpaste to clean your hands will kill the smell.

4. Carpet stains

It’s almost impossible to prevent stained carpets when you have kids and pets in the house. And just like with clothes, tooth paste comes in handy when it comes to cleaning the stains on your carpet.

5. Soothing effect

If you have been bitten by a bug or stung by a bee, tooth paste will help soothe the itchiness. It also helps in calming burns so long as the burn is not an open wound.

6. Freshen up your bathroom

Tooth paste can also act as a deodorizer for your bathroom. Use it to clean the sinks and bathroom surfaces for a great fragrance.

7. Cleaning silver pieces

If you have any silver jewels that are getting old and tarnished, make them sparkle by cleaning them with toothpaste. You can also use it to clean silver handles on your utensils. Just rub the tooth paste on the jewels and leave them overnight and wipe them in the morning.

8. Cleaning finger nails

Toothpaste is not only great for cleaning your teeth but also your finger nails. Rub the paste on a soft brush and clean up your finger nails. They will be shiny and also stronger.

9. Cleaning iron box

When the iron gets too hot, it burns the fabric and the fabric gets stuck on the iron. To clean it up, rub some tooth paste on the troubled area and wipe it off using a damp clean cloth.
