5 common mistakes women make when wearing slit skirts

What you need to avoid when wearing a slit skirt

Especially in a skirt that is designed to show a hint of skin can end up being messy or embarrassing for the wearer and the people around her.

Here are 4 common mistakes women make when wearing slit skirts.

1. Wearing a slit skirt that doesn't fit.

When you wear a tight fitting skirt with a slit that makes the slit expand like a bow, it means that skirt isn't the perfect fit for you.

2. Too long slit in a too short skirt

Sometimes it seems as though the slit was made for different length skirt as the slit seems to reach as far the butt cheek. This is a slit that's too long relative to the length of the skirt. The slit should be functional enough to allow you to walk and modest enough not to show any underwear.

3. Side slits

These should be tried on with care as they can make you look as though you have an incomplete skirt. They are best suited to long, loose fitting skirts.

4. Wearing the wrong slit in a corporate environment

Some slits are designed to be really sexy- bordering on scandalous- but to be taken seriously in an office environment, the slit should be modest. The best is usually a singular side slit that is a few inches long. It can also be a back slit that is accompanied by a zipper.
