Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, a.k.a. Dr. Pimple Popper , is hitting hard right where it counts on this throwback Thursday. She's here with another videoand this time, she's hitting a huge cyst with a one-two punch.
In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper actually faces off with two huge cysts. She gave a sneak preview in the video's Instagram caption: "Taking a punch to the neck #drpimplepopper #tbt" It may be a throwback, but this pop sounds like some must-see TV to me.
Dr. Pimple Popper gets the show started by pinching the skin on her patient's neck. Then, she punches out a hole with her trusty punching tool to allow the contents to pop right out. Why a punch biopsy tool for this pop? Well, one of her fans asked and Dr. Pimple Popper explained exactly why. She wrote, "It depends on how big the area is! If its bigger then I will use the scalpel and if its smaller I opt for the punch. Trying to get the best excision for a flat, clean suture."

It looks like a good strategyas soon as Dr. Pimple Popper adds pressure around the cyst, a white column of gunk juts up and out. There's so much goo spewing out. Right when you think you've seen the juiciest part, the video cuts to cyst number two. Yep, this patient has multiple cysts all over his neck.
Dr. Pimple Popper repeats her process on this cyst. She punches her patient's neck, then squeezes. She uses more fingers this time and a massive column of solid white gunk jumps out. Take it from one fan, "That looks like a barnacle !" It needs a little more coaxing with her scissors to fully detach from her patient. As soon as Dr. Pimple Popper clears out both cysts completely, her patient is good to go. Talk about a one-two punch.
