Deputy President William Rutos close friend Donald Kipkorir has announced that he will not vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta during the August 8 General Election.

The self-proclaimed billionaire mentioned that his vote will go to National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Kipkorir who is a Nairobi lawyer noted that he will, however, be voting for DP Ruto in 2022 to be the 6th President of Kenya.

The flamboyant lawyer said that he had endorsed Mr. Odinga because "Kenya needs a leader who will put the country above self. Who will want all Kenya to rise together. A leader who wouldn't discriminate because of political ideology or tribe or religion".

Kipkorir opined that the former Prime Minister was the best choice for Kenya as he is "a leader who will not do business competing with the state but instead establish a sovereign fund for all".

"It is for this that I place my faith in Baba. He said he will go one term. He says, like Joshua, he will take us over to Canaan and leave," he said.

He urged Kenyans to rally behind the ODM party leader.

"Let's give him a chance. Then at least the leadership of Kenya would have temporarily moved out of Kikuyu-Kalenjin before we resume in 2022! If Baba fails to deliver when President, then we will resume our Kikuyu-Kalenjin Alliance in 2022 ad infinitum. And we will not return it," he stated.

His statement came as a shock to many as he is known to be a Jubilee die-hard.
