Presidential candidate Abduba Dida once again stole the show during Tuesday’s meeting with Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chiefs at Nairobi.

The pre-nomination meeting was organised by IEBC led by its Chairman Wafula Chebukati where all presidential candidates had been invited.

The Tunza coalition presidential candidate left those present both in laughter and bewilderment after he said that the IEBC’s offices at Lillian Towers were full of “naked women”.

Dida spoke of how on Monday night while he was presenting signatures of his supporters at the IEBC offices, he was shocked to encounter “naked women” who were everywhere.

Khalif Kairo and his former business partner Clement Kinuthia are locked in a heated exchange of accusations, with Kairo now alleging that Clement not only cheated on his wife but also had an affair with his (Kairo’s) girlfriend. The car dealer also revealed that he is currently single, but will introduce a new lady once he resolves the issues surrounding his business.

“Last night Mr Chairman, all around your office were women who were naked. I was with my daughter and I was ashamed! She was asking me what is this?

You may be caring of inside your office, but I wish you would be checking what was happening around your office,” Dida told Chebukati.

Dida further told Chebukati that IEBC should not despise and undermine the independent candidates contesting the presidency.

He said the fact that there were thousands of independent candidates contesting this time round in the elections proved that Kenyans were tired of the current crop of leaders and desired change.

"The fact that there are 4,000 independent candidates is a good indication we are not happy with the current leadership. If your father has failed you, it is your responsibility to say, Dad, go and rest," he said.

He dismissed those pushing the notion that the presidential contest in August was a two-horse race between Jubilee's Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa's Raila Odinga as there were other potentially better candidates to serve Kenyans at the highest office in the land.

This is the second time Dida is taking a stab at the presidency.

He first contested for the presidency in 2013 elections where he garnered an impressive 52,848 votes and beat other seasoned and experienced politicians such as Martha Karua, James Ole Kiyapi and Paul Muite.
