Former President Daniel arap Moi has been discharged from Hospital.
The former Head of State had been admitted at the Nairobi Hospital for two weeks.
A statement released by his Press Secretary and official Spokesman, Lee Njiru, confirmed that the former president had been discharged.
The statement read: “The Moi family has expressed gratitude to all those who offered prayers and sent ‘quick recovery’ messages.”

Medical check-ups
Mzee Moi had checked into the hospital accompanied by his long-serving physician, Dr David Silverstein.
His family have kept the nature of his medical check-ups private.
In December 2018, he was also admitted to the hospital for a series of medical tests which were later said to have been okay-ed by his doctor and he was discharged.

Other than his advancing age, the former President has had a number of knee complications that are said to have been caused by his 2006 Limuru accident.
