Babu Owino Speaks After Dramatic Arrest

He is accused of two things

The legislator who was arrested outside parliament building by Flying Squad Officers went ahead and revealed the cause of his arrest.

“Been arrested held at parklands station, charges are two: Harboring an intention to overthrow the government and assault. It shall be well,” read a post he made on Facebook.

Earlier this week, the MP was forced to open up after being controversially linked to a shameful video at a popular city club after word went round that he had assaulted a parking attendant.

The legislator is one of the vocal opposition MPs who have always shown support for opposition leader Raila Odinga’s push to be sworn in as the President of Kenya.

Opposition coalition NASA has always maintained that they do not recognize the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
