Ciru Muriuki to rekindle chemistry with Larry Madowo at BBC

Friendships that last!

Radio and TV presenter Ciru Muriuki on Wednesday called it quits at K24 where she had been hosting the station’s morning show – K24 Alfajiri.

A source close to Ciru’s exit intimated to Pulselive.co.ke that she resigned after being offered a job at BBC.

It will be interesting to see which projects she takes on BBC given that she will be joining her former co-presenter at the Trend – Larry Madowo.

Larry is currently a big shot at the British media house – where he heads the business desk in Africa.

The two presenters had great chemistry while working at Nation, to the extent that some rumour mongers claimed that they were romantically engaged.

At some point, Ciru was forced to share a photo of her then boyfriend to dispel rumours that she was dating Larry.

K24 Alfajiri has in the past week lost two presenters, with Ian Wafula also exiting in search for greener pastures at BBC.
