Bomb scare in CBD as residents rush to safety

Panic in town

A strange device left at a shop in a busy street in Thikas Central Business District (CBD) on Tuesday turned into a bomb scare.

The strange device was discovered at an agrovet along the busy Uhuru Street where it was neatly kept in a box.

Police were quickly called to scene where they conducted tests and discovered that the gadget was not an explosive.

Area Administration Police Commandant Peter Nzimbi stated that detectives had established that the gadget was a power circuit.
