Boniface Mwangi’s bold statement over Miguna’s drama at JKIA

Miguna refused to be deported

He added that it was alarming for the government to defy courts when it comes to protecting its citizens.

“It’s very dangerous when a government defies court orders. No one is safe from such a government. Today it’s Miguna, tomorrow you will be the victim. You might not like Miguna Miguna but his rights must be respected and protected! No “IFs”, No “BUTs”! President Uhuru’s entire government is afraid of one man, Miguna. Miguna Miguna is now the real, one man opposition and since he can’t be intimidated or bribed, the president doesn’t want him in Kenya. ‪The president of the Republic of Kenya is afraid of that one man who questions his legitimacy. Nobodies don’t get harassed or deported. You harass those you fear, Uhuru fears Miguna. ” shared Boniface Mwangi

This comes hours after Miguna refused to board an Emirates flight he was bundled into on Monday night.

A battalion of police officers forced Mr Miguna into the flight in a bid to deport him to Dubai.

Police officer attempted to forcefully eject the Canadian-based lawyer from the country after failing to show his Canadian passport.

According to Immigration officers, Miguna was an undocumented visitor hence could not be allowed into the country,

Speaking at the scene Siaya Senator James Orengo said that Miguna was dragged away by over 40 an uniformed officers.

"He is on an Emirates flight, and the reason they are giving is that he is undocumented," he said.

From videos taken by Koinange, Miguna's suit appeared torn following the fight he had with the police officers.

After a long standoff the plane closed its door without Miguna onboard.
