Sonko took to social media to share the sad news that his son Satrin Osinya has of late had on and off complications that have seen him admitted at Nairobi hospital for treatment.
His message read in part that “The Devil is a liar. My adopted son Satrin osinya who survived a brain surgery after a bullet lodged on his brain was successfully removed by doctors at KNH has been of late developing complications on and off.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the Nairobi hospital. All watu wangu just join my family in praying for him. May he be healed in the mighty name of Jesus.”

In the midst of the trying times, Sonko put his faith in God and shared Don Moen’s song “I am The God That Healeth Thee”.
He expressed hope that Osinya’s health shall be restored.
Osinya became a symbol of undying courage and hope in the war against Al Shabaab after surviving one of the numerous attacks by the terror group.
He survived a terrorist attack at a Church in Likoni and was left with a bullet lodged in his head.
He underwent a successful surgery at Kenyatta National Hospital and was afterwards adopted by Mike Sonko.

His mother perished in the terrorist attack that was linked to Somalia based terror group Al-Shabaab.
