Most wanted suspects linked to Dusit attack – Police

Over the weekend, police released a list of 9 most wanted suspects linked to the Dusit D2 complex attack that happened on Tuesday last where 21 people were killed.

Those on the list are, Boru Abdi Bidu, Dido Mohamed Fugicha, Abdi Ali Kachora, Gaddafi alias Munene, Ramadhan Wario Bonaya alias Rasho, a amn idenfied as Omari, Hussein Adan Hussein alias Etoo and Violet Kemunto Omwoyo alias Khadija who is believed to be the wife to Ali Salim Gichunge one of the attackers reportedly killed during the attack.

According to a Press release issued by the National Police Service, three suspects involved in facilitating the criminals execute Dusit attack have been arrested: they include Ibrahim Ali Buyo (aged 19), Aden Hassan both arrested within Fafi Sub County and Mohamed Abdirahman (aged 41) in Hagardera market.

During the arrest police managed to recover three firearms; a pistol (make MAKAROVATM 38-46) loaded with 8 rounds of ammunition, a new model browning pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition and another CF pistol loaded with 13 rounds of ammunition.

However, the police report indicates that there are other suspects who are on the run appealing to the public to offer any information that will lead to their arrest.

Further investigations into the Dusit attack revealed that two of the guns that were used in the attack were initially bought by the Federal Government of Somalia.
