Anyang’ Nyong’o pulls surprise move in Jubilee stronghold

The Kisumu governor attended a rally organized by a Jubilee governor.

Nyong’o met with his Kericho counterpart Prof Paul Chepkwony in Kericho where they discussed peace initiatives communities living on the borders of their respective counties.

After a private meeting in Chepkwony’s office, Nyong’o was invited by his host for a rally where the NASA leader was well received by Kericho residents.

The Governors were reacting to a tense situation that has been recorded amongst Kericho and Kisumu residents who have significant political differences.

However, the situation has been reported to have calmed down after the two professors held the peace meeting.

Most of the residents in Kisumu support the Opposition and did not participate in the repeat poll while their Kericho neighbors are Jubilee-affiliated.
