ODM MP resigns

He has opted to work with DP Ruto.

Mr Dori has held the position since 2014.

In his resignation letter to the part leader dated June 5, Mr Dori revealed that he quit the position to concentrate on his constituents.

He however assured the party leadership that he  would remain loyal to Raila Odinga, Agnes Zani, Kwale ODM vice chairman among others.

Support DP Ruto

On Monday, during a public rally, however, the legislator publicly declared his support for DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

“I have been in opposition for over 20 years but still my constituency benefited from construction of at least 10 roads.

"A friend in need is a friend in deed. There is no need to waste time but support Ruto,” he said.
