While is not yet clear if his disappearance is linked to the death of the student, reports indicate that the man may have gone into hiding following the incident.

The body of the decead has been moved to Kapkatet Hospital mortuary with police launching investigations into the incident.

This comes a few weeks after Human Rights activist Caroline Mwatha was found dead after what police investigations revealed was a botched abortion.

Autopsy results on activist Caroline Mwatha's body revealed that she died of excessive bleeding from a ruptured uterus after a botched abortion.

The family had sought the services of independent pathologist Peter Ndegwa who found that Ms Mwatha had a male foetus of five to six months still inside her womb.

Mr Ndegwa also found that the foetus had been mutilated with one hand missing and the skull was badly damaged.
