A UK-based group has relesed their findings in a survey that sought to rank Kenya's 47 governors according to their performance.

The All-Africa Advisors survey listed Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua as the best performing Governor in Kenya.
Council of Governors Chairman Wycliffe Oparanya, who is also the Governor of Kakamega County emerged as the second best performer.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho emerged in 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively.
Muthomi Njuki (Tharaka Nithi), Okoth Obado (Migori), James Ongwae (Kisii), Paul Chepkwony (Kericho) and Salim Mvurya (Kwale) completed the top ten list in the new rankings.
Bottom 5 Governors in Kenya
The list of bottom five governors started with Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi at position 43 followed by Fahim Twaha (Lamu), Sospeter Ojaamong (Busia), Cyprian Awiti (Homa Bay) and at position 47, Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.
Immediate former CoG chairman Josphat Nanok (Turkana) was ranked at position 15. The current vice chairman of the CoG Mwangi Wa Iria (Murang'a) was placed at position 26.
Female Governors Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and Anne Mumbi (Kirinyaga) were ranked at position 13 and 29 respectively. The survey also ranked the Late Joyce Laboso at position 27.
