Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto expected to land in the country with a bang on Friday.

 

Bomet Governor, Isaac Ruto plans to land with a bang! According to the director of information, Bomet County, Mr. Kiprotich Samoei, the vocal governor will hold major political rallies once he lands from South Africa, where he is recuperation after undergoing a successful surgery on the cheek.

“Governor Ruto has been given all clear by doctor to travel back home on Friday. He will however go back to South Africa for another appointment with the ophthalmologist in mid-December” Kiprotich told Nairobi news.

Ruto is expected to land in Nairobi on Friday, before holding political rallies on Saturday and Sunday, one in Bomet and another one in Narok County.

After resting on Friday, Ruto will then meet with friends and family in Nairobi on Saturday morning, before later on holding a meeting with council of governors and then proceeding to Bomet.

On his way to his county, the governor will make stopovers in Narok and ololung’a towns in neighboring Narok County before heading to Mulot on the Narok-Bomet border.

“His supporters in Narok will host him for a meeting in Narok and Ololung’a towns, then he will be received at Mulot by Bomet County residents before being escorted back home”  Samoei said in a statement sent to newsrooms yesterday.

The culmination of Isaac Ruto grand return will however be at a prayer rally at Bomet county stadium on Sunday.

The prayer rally will start at 10am and local and national leaders are expected to grace the event.

The governor is expected to use the rallies to hit out at the Jubilee government, especially at the deputy president William Ruto whom he has since fallen out with. Ruto is one of the harshest critic of the deputy president in the Rift Valley Region.
