A Kenyan athlete identified as Dominic Samson Ndingiti, who made history on Sunday for clinching Kenyas first ever medal in 10,000m Walk race at international level, has been the talk of the town since the magnificent victory.

Ndingiti was among athletes competing at the IAAF under 18 championships, an event which attracted over 12,000 athletes.

The bronze winner caused an uproar following his interview with a foreign journalist who asked her questions in English.

The athlete faced major challenges replying in English and his broken English was what attracted the attention of many.
