Here's What 'Veggie Mode' Means at Taco Bell

In "Veggie Mode," diners will find items off of Taco Bell's vegetarian menu, like the Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme and Power Menu Bowl. You'll also find secret hacks not listed on the menu that helps you enjoy a meat-free meal. For example, a Chalupa Supreme will be modified into a Black Bean Chalupa Supreme and a chicken soft taco will be transformed into a black bean soft taco. Some standard fare like, Potato Bites, Chalupa shells, and hash browns, have also been added to the menu.

Veggie Mode will be available on March 12 on self-service ordering kiosks at Taco Bells nationwide.

This is obviously great news for people who don't eat meat for dietary or personal preferences. However, going meat-free won't necessarily save you loads of calories if that's you're reason for activating "Veggie Mode." For example, a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme contains 510 calories while one with beef has 530 calories .
